Make-up is more than just paint on a face—it is a language, an identity, a way to show who you are without words. This project started with a video, a personal glimpse into what make-up means to me. Not as a mask, but as a mirror of my inner self. My name means Bitter Sea, and from that foundation, I built my story—flowing between vulnerability and strength, between reality and fantasy.

That first video took me further than I had ever dared to dream. I was selected, along with nine others, to create a new piece. The final image, the result of this journey, carries traces of my fascination with the expressive and the unexpected. Inspired by the works of James Ensor, where masks and faces merge into something mysterious and enchanting, I shaped my own interpretation.
